वैसे तो प्रत्येक ऋषि-चिंतन अपने में अनमोल मोती है ही, लेकिन आज का ऋषि-चिंतन, “कर्म के साथ भावना को भी जोड़ें,” विशेषकर महत्वपूर्ण इस लिए है कि इसे आधुनिक जीवन के हर पहलु से जोड़ा जा सकता है| प्रवक्ता.कॉम पर देश में गरीबी और बढती महंगाई पर अपनी टिप्पणी देते मैं आज के ऋषि-विचार का विशेष उल्लेख करूँगा| कर्म, कसरत और स्वास्थ्य के स्थान पर व्यक्तिगत उन्नति और राष्ट्रप्रेम होगा| मेरी २००९ की भारत यात्रा के समय हरिद्वार स्थित शांतिकुंज में पंडित श्रीराम शर्मा आचार्य जी के विचारों से अवगत हो मैं आत्म-विभोर हो उठा था| यदि अपने बाल जीवन में आचार्य जी ने कुष्ठ-ग्रस्त अछूत नारी की व्यथा समझी है तो देश में चारों ओर गरीबी और अज्ञानता के बीच
सरकार और समृद्ध लोग आँखें मूंदे कैसे बैठ सकते हैं? उनमे राष्ट्रप्रेम जगाना होगा ताकि वे सह-नागरिक की पीड़ा को समझते हुए ऐसे उपक्रम करें जो सामान्य जीवन को सुखमई बना सकें|
आज के ऋषि-चिंतन के लिए मेरा धन्यवाद|

Your e-mails are welcome for their uplifting content. Shanti Kunj is highly respected for its spritual and educational initiatives. Presently a stagnation seems to ecclipse the cosmic heights which the vedic Risshis achieved and expressed in Upanishdic thought. There is need to research and regain, through subjective illumination, what Krishna, Budha and the likes stated as if seen, realised and lived every moment as routine. There is need of living, self contained, and illumined laboratories whose finds should in turn illuminate the the present inertia of the human consciousness. Institutions such as Shanti Kunj could take initiative in this direction.

I have a question. Why we should not follow the teachings of our ancient Rishis and Munis, in our present day circumstances , which is very much in failure of human conciousness.
When the Patanjali yoga Sutra was written by Sarbatyagi Shankara?
How many of us can explain the main theme of Yoga Sutra?
